Sara joined Severfield in 2016 as part of the health and safety team. It was whilst carrying out this role that she developed a passion for sustainability. Working closely with the Group SHE Director, Sara developed her role to become the first dedicated sustainability colleague within Severfield. In this role she assists in keeping stakeholders informed of Severfield’s sustainability performance and building relationships across the business and wider industry to ensure that sustainability is at the heart of everything that Severfield does.

Sara attends workshops and events that up skill her role and commitment to sustainability, developing both her knowledge and professional network.

Sara is an active member of the BCSA Sustainability Group, and actively promotes the need to improve both Severfield and the construction industry’s impact.
