The software incorporates a highly efficient Beam Wizard® optimiser, enabling designers to optimise a single beam to a whole floor or building with the click of a button. Lengthy, time consuming designs can be completed in minutes.

With a track record of continuous development, to ensure FBEAM® remains at the forefront of engineers’ needs, Fabsec partnered with Trimble to develop an import/export regime between FBEAM® and Tekla Structural Designer. This update allows a seamless transfer of data between the two software packages making the design and specification of FBEAM® plate girders even more streamlined.

FIREBEAMS® are designed using the optimum combination of steel section and intumescent coating to give the most economical solutions for 30-120 minutes fire resistance. The beams are purpose-made to match applied loads and designed to ensure optimum efficiency and architectural freedom.
