Visitors can partake in shopping sprees, catching up with friends over a coffee or a cold drink in one of the many coffee shops and bars or enjoy dining at one of the 40+ restaurants. There’s also the attraction of Trinity Kitchen - a unique setting which provides visitors with a real mixture of eateries and street food options.
When it came to the construction for this project, specific considerations had to be made due to the city centre location. With minimal laydown area for structural steelwork, deliveries of which had to be meticulously planned in order for the mobile and tower cranes to be able to erect the steelwork straight away.
The construction was completed in two phases, starting in June 2010 and ending in August 2012 and overall, we supplied and installed around 4,455 tonnes of fabricated structural steelwork.
As well as the main structure steelwork, we also provided and installed the five pedestrian bridges within the shopping centre, these range from 10-14m in length.
Sustainability ratings and success
